Son wedding turned out great.

My son David wedding was April 10th, everything turned out great . My daughter Susie and I was worn out by the time we finished all the decorating. We did have help but, we were still pushing the clock to get finished on time. Here are couple of pictures .

Another Sewing Day

I whipped up another skirt today . This is a casual straight skirt ,made from brushed twill , should be warm , for this weather we are having now... I already had the jacket I can wear with.

Did get a little more sewing done yesterday... I have had this white jacket a while , had the fabric to make my skirt , but just had not been in a garment sewing mood....But , with being snowed in and all this freezing weather , had to do something to keep my sanity.....might been a good thing in some ways, I did accomplish something.... Have about 5 more piece of fabric layed out for skirts....It winter fabric...so if , I don't get them made soon, winter will be over, HOPEFULLY!!! .

Warmer Today

We have finally had a break in this terrible cold weather , today is suppose to reach at least 40. I need to do some grocery shopping... Have stayed in so long , beginning to get used to it... Dont like grocery shopping anyway.....would rather fabric shop.

I made another little tote bag yesterday, must just not ,been meant for me to sew. I had every problem possible for such a small simple job... first had problems finding anything in stash I wanted to line the bag.. right off cut the lining wrong....then I broke a needle.. Had a big spool of thread sitting behind my machine.....the thread ended up caught in my pulley wheel to the motor and wrapped tons of thread around it before I noticed....UGG.....hate days like that.

Finnally did get the bag finished ..

Dreary Day

This was just another cold dreary day.. I stayed inside all day . Did do a little sewing...just can't seem to get in sewing mood anymore.

One of my chat friends sent me this little flat to make a small tote bag, so I made it up today ....

Did some laundry and baked some cranberry nut bread..

I am still just expermenting on using this blog.. Not sure if I am doing anything right....
